Artist statement“My greatest muses come from my community.”
I’m a self-taught photographer based in D.C., working since 2016 across portraits, weddings, events, and architecture — on both film and digital.
My personal work is shaped by the drastic shifts the city has gone through: things that once were, and things that continue to grow from the heartbeat of Chocolate City. The images tend to feel sensual and gentle, often with a subtle, gloomy undertone.
When I speak about intimacy in capturing my subjects, I mean the energy, the comfort, the freedom of expression.
